DOERUN - Waydean Daniels McClure, 83, died Thursday, April 6, 2006, at Phoebe-Worth Medical Center.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, April 8, at Banks Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Jeff Baker officiating. Burial will follow at Cool Springs Cemetery in Colquitt County.
Born June 27, 1922, in Colquitt County, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Marion Daniels and the late Fannie Bridges Daniels. She had lived in Worth County since 1968, moving from Colquitt County. She was a homemaker and a member of Gordy-New Bethel Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband David H. McClure; two daughters, Barbara M. Metcalf and Janis M. Floyd; a grandson, Gordon Alan Metcalf; and a great-grandson, William Robert Metcalf.
Survivors include a son, Jimmy D. McClure and his wife Ann of Doerun; five grandchildren, Matt and Leslie McClure, David Metcalf, Paige Howell and Chad Floyd; six great-grandchildren; and two sons-in-law, Tom J. Metcalf of Forest, Va., and Dennis H. Floyd of Peachtree City, Ga.
The family will receive friends tonight from 7 to 9 at Banks Funeral Home.
