LINDALE - Services for George Berry Herndon Sr., 78, DeSoto, father of a Lindale resident, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday at Caudle-Rutledge Funeral Home, Lindale. Interment will follow in Lindale City Cemetery.

Survivors include his wife, Shirley Bunch Herndon of DeSoto; sons and daughter-in-law, George B. Jr. and Bambi Herndon of Lindale, and Jamie L. Herndon of DeSoto; sister, Katherine Gatlin of Newport, Ark.; three grandsons; and one great-granddaughter.

The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday at the funeral home.
