Betty Jo Foley, of Allen, Texas, passed away on September 23, 2021, at the age of 81. She was born on May 17, 1940, to Joseph Samuel and Velma Mae Barnes Foley, in Cynthiana, Kentucky. Her friends knew her as "B.J." She attended the University of Kentucky and earned her nursing degree from Northern Kentucky University. She attended Allen Heights Baptist Church and was a retired psychiatric registered nurse, as well as an avid gardener, writer and cat lover.

She is survived by: four loving children, Stephen Cummings and wife, Michelle, of Glenview, Illinois, Krisanne Cummings Stewart and husband, Bryan, of Keller, Texas, Rebecca Cummings Richardson and husband, Jon, of Allen, Texas, and Daisy Mei, of Allen, Texas; her precious little sister, Brenda Sue Foley Parker, of Florence, Kentucky; eight grandchildren she adored, Stephen Joseph, Blake, Kileigh, Cassidy, Beckett, Luke, Emerine and Wyatt; as well as numerous other loving family members and friends. Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Velma Foley, of Sunrise, Kentucky.

A celebration of life will be held in October at Allen Heights Baptist Church, in Allen, Texas. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, November 21, at Sunrise Christian Church, in Sunrise, Kentucky. Burial will follow at Pythian Grove Cemetery, in Berry, Kentucky. Woodhead Funeral Home, in Falmouth, is assisting the family.
