Lt Thomas was the son of Immigrant Rowland Stebbins b 1594 England, res Springfield; his wife Sarah Stebbins d. Oct 4 1649. He died 1671 Dec 14, age 77, Northampton, MA, where a granite cenotaph is erected to his memory. He came to America in 1634, age 40, on the ship "Francis" from Bocking, Essex Co., England.
