Wife of John Finkbohner (1863-1934) who is buried outside Narrowsburg, NY in Lava Cemetery.
Lena Kupferer Finkbohner, was born in Ulm, Germany and died 19 Oct 1954. She is buried in Woodland Cemetary in Dayton OH with their son, Otto Finkbohner. John Finkbohner joined Lena in Paterson, New Jersey after arriving in America on 4 March 1889, and married her one year and four days after arrival on 8 March 1890.
The family of her brother, Andreas (later as Andrew) Kupferer, arrived in Paterson, New Jersey in the same year as Lena. Andrew was a baker, and some of his children worked in the silk mills, as did Lena's husband John and her brother-in-law in later years. Although not confirmed, it is highly likely that Lena may have immigrated the same year as her brother, but prior to her husbands arrival. Andreas served as one of the witnesses to her marriage.
