The birth date of Henry H. Baker. The military marker says Henry H. Baker 1850-January 14, 1914. The family of Henry H. Baker have a different birth date than the 1850, they have his birth date as February 18, 1843 Madison County, Alabama and died in Limestone County, Alabama. Their birth date of February 18, 1843 came from an old prayer book that was in the possession of a Mr. Glover,who a relative as Henry's mother was Mahala Glover, his father was John Webster Baker. However, it was not known how he was related to Mr. Glover. It is not uncommon for the date of birth to be wrong on military records of those days. If they didn't know they guessed at the age, therefore the year of birth could be wrong.
This data was supplied to me by Sharron Baker, a descendant of the Baker line, her great great grandfather was a brother to Henry H. Baker. I added the data to Henry Baker's second wife, Nannie K. Baker who has a memorial on findagrave that can be found in Wallace Cemetery, Limestone County, Alabama. Nannie was Nancy K. Moyers before she married Henry Baker and was my great great aunt.

Henry married Martha Moon 10-10-1861 in Madison County Alabama.
