ALGER - Graveside services for Charlene Shepherd, 4-day-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Nathan Shepherd, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Preston Cemetery. The Rev. Haskell Hurt will officiate.
The child died at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday in Hardin Memorial Hospital, Kenton.
Surviving, in addition to the parents are seven sisters, Mrs. Caroline Adkins, Kenton, and Ovil Mae, Anna, Shirley, Loretta, Emma Jean, and Coline, all at home; and three brothers, Fred and Jewel, both of Route 1, Alger, and Brodrick, at home.
The body will remain at the Hanson Funeral Home here until time for services.
