Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Thursday at Posey's Funeral Home chapel. Graniteville, with the Rev. Albert Atkinson officiating. Burial will be in Graniteville Cemetery.
A native of Graniteville, he was a retired employee of Graniteville Co. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
Survivors include his widow, the former Leona Barton; two daughters, Mrs. Audley Widener and Mrs. Carl Renew, both of Graniteville: stepdaughter Mrs. Helen Hornick, Pennsylvania, three step sons, Jesse Melton, Graniteville, Willie Melton, California, and Arthur Floyd, Ohio: and a sister, Mrs. Nell Carlton, Ft. Price, Fla.
