A well known and highly esteemed citizen of newton, C. C. McDaniel, photographer, passed away this forenoon at 11:45 at his home at 604 East Broadway. He had been a resident of Harvey county since his boyhood days, his early home having been on a farm northwest of Newton. For the past twenty years he had his studio at 626 1/2 Main and had been active in this profession until a month ago, when an attack of Bright's disease from which he suffered, compelled him to his home. His wife and two sons, Paul and Clarence V. survive him in the family circle, also four sisters and three brothers.
