Mrs. Smith was recently stricken with the Spanish influenza which developed into pneumonia and had been in a critical condition for several days before death ensued.
Mrs. Smith was the daughter of former Senator L. W. Zim. She had been beloved by a large circle of friends. The untimely death of this young woman has caused genuine grief here.
Besides the immediate family of a husband and six children, the decreased is survived by her father Senator Zim, and several brothers and a sister.
The funeral will take place from the Cathedral tomorrow afternoon at 3 o'clock and interment will be in San Lorenzo cemetery.
