Funeral services for Mrs. Selma B. Raney, 72, Elkton Street, Athens, were held Sunday at 4 p.m. at McConnell Funeral Home Chapel under the direction of Rev. James Adams.
Mrs. Raney, who died Saturday at the Huntsville Hospital, was buried in Roselawn Cemetery, McConnell Funeral Home directing.
Survivors include one son, Robert L. Raney, Brussels, Belgium; one daughter, Patsy Holt, Athens; one brother, Otis Bassham, Athens; three sisters, Mrs. Lucille Bailey, Mrs. Clarice Kennemur and Mrs. Bernice Bailey, all of Anderson; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
