Suella M. Beasley Crane, 83, died at 5:05 a.m. on Tuesday, January 12, 2010 at Bell Trace Health and Living Center, Bloomington, IN.
Born May 24, 1926, in Elnora, she was the daughter of Vert and Nell Fielder Beasley.
A homemaker and mother of five, she was a member of Elnora Methodist Church and Ruth Circle. She was also a member of Elnora American Legion Auxiliary.
She is survived by two sons and daghters-in-law, Kevin and Debbie Crane of Bloomfield and Allan and Nancy Crane of Plainville; three daughters and sons-in-law, Sharon Crane of Bloomington, Peggy and Dennis Stalter of Unionville and Chris and Byron Chambers of Odon; eight grandchildren, Nathan Chambers, Todd Stalter, Jennifer Stalter Zona, Ashley Crane Lee, Michael Crane, Melissa Dyal, Tony Owens and Monte Owens; eight great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, Bill Crane of Elnora, and sister-in-law, Judy Beasley of Elnora.
Her husband, Rex O. Crane, whom she married February 24, 1946, died May 15, 2006. A brother, Robert Beasley, and a sister, Patricia Sears, are also deceased.
A funeral service in honor of her life was at 11 a.m. on Friday, January 15th at Poindexter-Hall and McClure Funeral Home, Odon Chapel, with Pastor Jerry Jensen officiating. Burial will be in Walnut Hill Cemetery.
Friends called from 4 to 8 p.m. on Thursday and from 9 a.m. until time of service Friday at the funeral home.
