*** Thank you for your visits to Starla's Memorial ***
She would gladly give each of you a hug!

Personal thanks sweet Starla - you blessed my life. Paula

Mrs. Moses passed away Thursday at her
Cedar Hill residence. Graveside Service
and Interment were at the Red Oak Cemetery.

Starla had lived in Red Oak her entire life. The family bought the house across the street from me in 1989. It was my privilege to have been her neighbor the entire time. Our kids went to school together, we laughed and cried together. They moved to Cedar Hill in 2005. Her parents were absolutely darling! Everyone loved Mamaw "Bea" and Papaw Grubbs. The Family was just very special.

For many years, Starla and Keith had a business out at Traders Village in Grand Prairie. "Horse and Dog Stuff" - my sweet dog Blanca still sleeps on the furry blanket that Starla gave her back in 2002 when she arrived at my home from the Dallas SPCA. A welcoming gift for my dear little girl.

Preceded in death by her parents Papaw Robert (Bobby) Grubbs and Mamaw Tiny Bea (Hamel) Grubbs.
Married to Keith Moses 25yrs.
Daughter Layla (Powell) Hamer, married with children.
Son Jonathon Powell, married with 2 sons
Keith Moses, Jr.

Brother Bobby Grubbs, Red Oak, TX
Brother Danny Grubbs, Red Oak, TX
Sister Becky (Grubbs)______, Meridian, TX

Please provide addtional information on the family - and grandchildren please let me know to update Starla's Bio. In honor of Starla..

At Starla's funeral - all of my neighbors were there, I had moved in 2006, but we were all in shock, disbelief. God truly picked a Rose for the Master's Bouquet.

A song for Starla ~*~ Kitty Wells - The Masters Bouquet - Starla is a rose forever in His bouquet.

Starla saved my life. God Bless her - she was an angel of mercy - she loved everyone and everyone loved her. Beautiful, kind and caring - all loving qualities. When I was home unable to work, she brought me meals, she just DID things, never asked. There is a mansion in God's Heaven where she is an eternally beautiful angel - there are so many who look forward to seeing that beautiful smile in Heaven.

Our precious Mother, Wife, Daughter, Sister and Friend succombed to lung cancer.
