She was born April 14, 1911, in Pleasant Valley, MD, the daughter of the late James Roy and Gertrude Ellen Wantz Myers.
Mrs. Corbin graduated from Pleasant Valley High School in 1928. She had worked as a sleeve setter for Jonathan Logan Company and L. Grief Brothers in Westminster.
She served several years as a Girl Scout leader and was a member of the Pleasant Valley Lutheran Church and later Grace Lutheran Church of Westminster and the Willing Workers Sunday School class in Pleasant Valley.
Mrs. Corbin served as superintendent of the Pleasant Valley Sunday School. She was a charter member of the Pleasant Valley Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed sewing, crochet, tatting, knitting, and chair caning.
She was the wife of Richard E. Corbin, who died in 1992, and is survived by a daughter, Carolyn Seabolt, granddaughter, Robin Crouse and husband, Keith, and great-granddaughter, Hannah L. Gray, all of Westminster.
She was predeceased by sisters and brothers, Ethel Black, Bell Leatherwood, Lester Myers, Violet Maus, and Leroy Myers.
Interment was in Pleasant Valley Cemetery, Westminster.
