Mrs. Emma J. Jacobs Is Claimed by Death
Mrs. Emma J. Jacobs, 75 years old, a resident of this locality for 21 years, died late Thursday in a Larned hospital. She had been ill and in the hospital for three years.
Mrs. Jacobs who lived east of the city on route 3 for many years was the widow of William E. Jacobs, who died here in 1923. The body of Mrs. Jacobs was brought here Friday morning.
Mrs. Jacobs was a native of Pennsylvania. She was a member of the First Methodist church. Surviving relatives are a son, Leon C. Jacobs; Arkansas City; two grandchildren; two brothers, Dan and Joseph Ossman of Iowa.
Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon in the Oldroyd chapel. The Rev. Otto F. Volkland will officiate. Interment will be in Riverview cemetery.
