Mrs. Bath was born in Georgetown on December 23, 1951, a daughter of the late James Walter Roberts and Lola Perry Roberts. She grew up in Georgetown and graduated from Winyah High School and with honors from the University of South Carolina. Mrs. Bath was an English teacher at Hemingway High School, where she taught for eighteen years.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Bath was predeceased by two sisters, Jacqueline Adams and Carolyn M. Bennett and a brother, James D. Roberts.
Surviving are her husband, Harold T. Bath, Jr. of Andrews; three sons, Tommy Bath, Jason Bath, and Brandon Bath, all of Andrews; two brothers, George W. Roberts of Georgetown and David P. Roberts of Denver, CO; and eight sisters, Dorothy J. Roberts of Hemingway, Shelby J. Leberknight, Barbara A. Lee and Peggy Goins, both of Georgetown, Faye Bouchard of Douglasville, GA, Mary Pirt of Goose Creek, Sandra Hensley of Florence, and Dale Etheridge of Manning.
