Mary L. (Branca) Pacelli, age 89 of Uniontown, PA, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Thursday January 14, 2010 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh, PA. She resided in Schenectady, New York for many years, and had also lived in Hopwood, PA.
She was born on February 29, 1920 in Adah, PA, daughter of Dominic and Angeline (Gallo) Branca.
She was preceded in death by her parents, first husband Clarence Davis, second husband Nicholas Pacelli, brothers and sisters, Ann Zangla, Samuel Branca, Carmella Murray, Albert S. Branca, and Madeline Maust; and also several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
Mary was an accountant and had retired from Grand Union Company, Inc. in New York. She loved spending time with her family, and shared many wonderful memories with them.
Left to cherish her memory is her brother Ralph Branca of Akron, Ohio; several stepchildren, and many dear nieces and nephews and their families.
Friends will be received in the STEPHEN R. HAKY FUNERAL HOME, INC, 603 N. Gallatin Ave., Ext., Uniontown, PA, on Sunday, January 17, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.; and on Monday, January 18, 2010 when a Blessing Service will be held, at a time to be announced, with Rev. Father Michael J. Crookston officiating.
Interment will follow at Oak Lawn Cemetery, Uniontown, PA.
