Mrs. Geneva D. Williams

MEMPHIS - Funeral services for Mrs. Geneva Darnell Williams, 76, of 1416 Bivins in Amarillo, a former Memphis resident, will be at 2:30 p.m. Friday in the First Baptist Church here.

The Rev. John W. Bobo, pastor, will officiate, assisted by the Rev. Charlie Abercrombie, an Amarillo minister. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery by Spicer Funeral Home.

Mrs. Williams died Wednesday morning in St. Anthony's Hospital at Amarillo.

She was born at Naples, Tex., and had lived in Amarillo for 16 years, moving there from Memphis. She was a Baptist. She married Robert S. Darnell in 1911 at Mount Pleasant. He died in 1951, and she married Willie F. Williams in 1958.

Survivors include her husband; four daughters, Mrs. L.B. Garrett of Hollis, Okla. Mrs. Frank Helton of Antlers, Okla., Mrs. Freeman Love of Bishop, Calif., and Mrs. Jim Ward of Denver; three sons, Arthur Darnell of Perryton, Hart Darnell of Lone Lane, Mo., and Floyd Darnell of Amarillo, 13 grandchildren and 17 great=grandchildren.
