Funeral Services For Mrs. Dalton Held Friday
Resident of Hall County For 37 Years Succumbs After Breaking Hip

Funeral services for Mrs. J.M. Dalton, 72, were held at the King Memorial Chapel Friday November 26 conducted by Rev. E.L. Yeats, pastor First Methodist Church. Mrs. Dalton fell and broke her hip Saturday, November 20, and passed away early Thursday morning, November 25.

Laura Belle Dalton was born in Canton County, Kentucky, November 11, 1871, and had been a resident of Hall County for 37 years. She was liked by everyone who knew her and will be remembered as a gentle, neighborly woman.

Survivors are her husband, J.M. Dalton, these children, Paul Dalton of Houston, Kate Williams of Artesia, N.M., John Dalton of Laramie, Wyo., Dean Dalton of Vallejo, Calif., Mrs. W.E. Guest of Granbury, Tommy Dalton of Hollywood Calif.; six grandchildren, Jerry Dalton in the armed forces, Billy Dalton Guest of Granbury, Dan Guest of Granbury, Jerebel Williams of Austin, Jerry Mike Dalton of Lexington, Mo., and Betty Dale Dalton of Laramie, Wyo.

Pall bearers at the services were Hal Goodnight, Gip McMurry, C.C. Meacham, Craver Browder, Oren Jones, and Ed Monzingo.

Interment was in Fairview Cemetery with King's Mortuary in charge.
