ROSELAND-Mrs. Rose Ella Fitzgerald, 84, a resident of the Beech Grove Community, died early yesterday at a Lynchburg nursing home.
She was the widow of N. D. Fitzgerald and a member of Beech Grove Christian Church.Mrs. Fitzgerald was a daughter of the late Floyd Coffey and Mary Weaver Coffey.
She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Effie Hicks, Boomer W. Va.; four sons, Hoy Fitzgerald and Tucker F. Fitzgerald, Lynchburg; Raymond F. Fitzgerald, Roseland, and Tommy W. Fitzgerald, Roseland. Also surviving is one stepdaughter, Mrs. Cora Taylor, Covesville; four sisters, Mrs. Stewart Gregory, Waynesboro; Mrs. Mint Campbell, Stuarts Draft; Mrs. Martha Arnold and Mrs. Etta Everitt, Love; one brother, Zandy Coffey, Love; 17 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. tomorrow from Beech Grove Christian Church, conducted by the Rev. J. D. Farries and the Rev. J. T. Watson. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
The family will assemble at her late home at 12:30 p.m. tomorrow.
