This card mounted vintage photo is of Supplina P. Hamilton (center) and two of his fellow ministers. The image was taken circa 1898 in Whitman County, WA. Supplina is wearing his Indian War Veteran medal. The medal may have been then recently award to him for his military service, over forty years before, in the 1st Regiment of the Oregon Mounted Volunteers in 1855/56. The image was preserved in the collection of his great granddaughter, Arlene H. (Hamilton) Lee, and is shared with permission. The original grayscale scan was colorized in Photoshop.

Meet our pioneer Grandfather, Supplina P. Hamilton (1832 ~ 1905). This portrait was preserved by Supplina's great granddaughter, Margery Roberta (Hamilton) Burke/Russell (1919 ~ 1997) and shared with us by permission from her descendants. It is the best single image of Supplina that we know of. The original grayscale scan was colorized in Photoshop.

Supplina and Sarah Jane "Jane" (Sumpter) Hamilton family portrait. The picture was likley taken between 1893 and 1896 in either in Endicott or Colfax, Whitman County, Washington State. The image was handed down within the family and preserved by the descendants of Supplina & Jane's son, Frank Hamilton, and shared here with permission. The photo is of the immediate family and does not include their in-laws and grandchildren.
