From the River Reporter - WEST KEANSBURG, NJ — Alfred Finkbohner of West Keansburg, NJ, an experimental assembler at Allied in Eatontown, NJ, died Tuesday, December 21, 1999, at the Riverview Medical Center in Red Bank, NJ. He was 72. He was born July 1, 1927 in Dayton, OH.
He was a Private First Class in the Army during World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Ruth Christians Finkbohner; a son, Alfred C. of Spotswood, NJ, a daughter, Donna Kratz of Laurel, MD; two brothers, Alvin of Manteo, NC and Allen of Narrowsburg; three sisters, Gustie Edwards of Port Richie, FL, Alberta Cassone of Fort Meyers, FL and Alice Hulihan of Narrowsburg; and five granddaughters. Burial was at the Lava Cemetery in Narrowsburg.
