He was a self-employed auto mechanic. He was a veteran of the Korean War; commander of the American Legion Octagon Post 291, Galeton, PA; Galeton Loyal Order of the Moose and VFW. Moose services will be held at the Brown Funeral Home Tuesday 7:30 p.m. Star Gazette [Elmira, NY] 20 January 1981
