Marion Richard Reese, 65, died on Wednesday, June 25, 2008.
He was born Dec. 13, 1942, in Beeville. He served in the U.S. Air Force and was a member of the American Legion Post #363. He was a welder.
He was preceded in death by his father, Marion Reese; his mother, Alma Ann Coley; and one brother, Ray Coley.
He is survived by his wife, Cindy Reese of Rockport; son, Wade (Angela) Reese of Rockport; stepson, Scott Galligan and stepdaughter, Ann Marie Brown, both of La Porte, Ind.; three brothers, Walter Reese of Keystone, Fla., and Roy Coley and Harold Reese, both of Beeville; grandchildren, Charity and Brandon Richard Reese; and step-grandchildren, Nicholas and Jacob Brown; nieces/nephews, cousins.
Viewing and visitation was held from noon to 9 p.m. Friday at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home in Rockport.
Funeral services will be conducted there at 10 a.m. today (Saturday). Interment will follow at 3 p.m. in Glenwood Cemetery.
