3 Feb 1851 to 25 April 1911. This was the first born son of Levi and Malinda. He would have been 12 when Morgan’s Raid steamrolled through Harrison Co. William was born when Levi was 32 and his mother 30, near the homestead in Hill Grove. Levi’s farm was next to his father’s, Abraham, and his brother Daniel at this time. When William was 20 in 1881, he married Adaline Crawford in Posey Co., the Levi family having moved there in the mid 1870’s. They had 9 children. William was a farmer like so many of his family. His wife Adaline died in 1900. Within a year he married Elizabeth Coon. She has a daughter from a previous marriage . Wm and Eliz. have one daughter. In 1910 he is a coal dealer in Mt Vernon, Posey Co, one block north of the Ohio River. William dies in 1911 and is buried near Adaline and Elizabeth in Bellfontaine Cemetery in Mt Vernon.
