Willetta L. Kennedy (nee Klug), age 80 of St. Paul, MN passed away Thursday, January 7, 2010.
She was born on May 5, 1929 in Hessville, Indiana to Joseph and Eleanor Klug.
She was a former area resident and a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Merrillville. Willetta retired from the U.S. Postal Service. She was an amateur florist and artist.
She is survived by one son, Craig C. Kennedy of NC; two daughters, Alanna (Dave Balasa) Kennedy of MN; Regina (Scott) Reese of OH; one brother, Jack Klug of Hobart, IN and six grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Colleen M. Portman (nee Kennedy); one brother, Joseph Klug; two sisters, Evelyn Etherton and Ethelyn MacLeod.
Funeral Services are Saturday, January 16, 2010 at 11 a.m. at Rees Funeral Home, 600 West Old Ridge Road, Hobart, IN with Pastor Robert Saler officiating.
Burial will follow at Crown Hill Cemetery, Hobart, IN.
