BURIAL- Citizens Cemetery

Mrs. Hall was born April 14, 1922 in Wood County, Texas and came to Clarendon in 1998 from Winslow, Arkansas where she had lived since 1972. She married George W. Hall in April 1940 at Hollis, Oklahoma. She owned a grocery store in Winslow, Arkansas prior to her retirement. She was a live-in caretaker for the elderly in their homes for many years. She loved going to garage sales, as well as being a "rock hound" rock collector. She was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Clarendon.

She was preceded in death by her husband in 1970; by a daughter, Vanetta Carol Hall in 1944; a sister, Blanche Tackett; and 2 brothers, Charlie Rogers and Hershel Rogers.

She is survived by 3 sons, Donnie Hall and wife Cleta of Clarendon, Marvin Hall and wife Margaret of Minden, Louisiana, Perry Hall and wife Loyce of Winslow, Arkansas; and two sisters, Faye Melton of Salem, Oregon and Murl Winston of Fayetteville, Arkansas;
