Walter Ransom, 64, a native of Tombstone, Ariz., and a resident of California for 63 years, died July 4 at his home in Lytle Creek canyon, where he had resided for one year. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Marian S. Ransom; a brother, John Ransom of Los Angeles; a sister, Mrs. Mary Richmond of Hermosa Beach, and three children, Walter Ransom, Jr.; Mrs. Judith Miller of Long Beach and Mrs. Elaine Blanine [Aileen Blaine] of West Los Angeles. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 1 p.m. from the Ingold Funeral home in Rialto with interment in Inglewood Park cemetery."
