I believe Mary Eliza Butterfield's parents are Oscar G. Butterfield b. 1817 OH md. 1842 Pickaway Co., OH to Rebecca Zehring b. 1825 OH. You will note that Mary and James named a son Oscar and used Rebecca as a middle name for Florence. You will find the Oscar Butterfield family in the Keokuk Co. Iowa census and records.
