William A. Yeisley, the eldest son of John Freeman and Ellen was born October 26, 1878 in Nazareth, Northampton County, Pa. He attended Lafayette College in Easton, Pa. After college he became a Presbyterian minister. He married Alice S. Uhler on September 10, 1905. She was the daughter of Amos Edwin Uhler and Catherine Ann Price He and Alice had both attended Forks Church while growing up - she was Lutheran and he was Reformed.
William and Alice had 5 children. The oldest, Paul was born in Stockertown, then came Laura born in New Berlin, Pa. After Laura was born, they moved to Kansas, then Illinois where William was born , then Ohio, then Indiana where John and Frank were born, then back to Pennsylvania, and lastly to Owego, New York..
After retiring from the Ministry, Rev. Yeisley managed the Paget Price Presbyterian home for retired ministers and their wives in Owego, New York until he died on November 8, 1954. William was buried in the New Milford Cemetery in New Milford, Pa.
