Died after a lingering illness with fever, Mrs. Irene Whisenant, nee Black, at her home in McCool, on last Sunday morning. She was the only daughter of Milton Black, of McCool, and the sister of our Mayor G. F. Black. In her girlhood the deceased was a pupil of this editor and was possessed of every charm of mind and heart. She grew into a noble womanhood, and now at the age of thirty-seven she passes over to the silent majority, and thus again we are reminded of the fact that death is the heritage of all. to the berefit family we extend our deepest sympathy.
