Maurine Kiesel Mower 12/22/1913 ~ 1/11/2010 FAIRVIEW
Our loving mother, grandmother and great-grand-mother, Maurine Christine Kiesel Mower, passed away peacefully into the arms of our loving Father in Heaven and her eternal companion, Fred Mower on Jan. 11, 2010 at the age of 96.
She was born in Manti on Dec. 22, 1913 to George C Kiesel and Petrea Christine Petersen.
She married the love of her life, Fred Webster Mower, on April 26, 1934.
The marriage was later solemnized in the Manti Temple on Oct. 3, 1959.
Fred passed away March 30, 1988.
She was an active member of the LDS Church.
She served faithfully in various callings.
She was employed at the Moroni Processing Plant for several years.
She and her husband spent a lot of time traveling and enjoyed spending time in Yuma, AZ.
She is survived by her children Marcia (Ralph) Tucker; Morris (Sharlene); Dennis (Beverly); George Clair; Judy (Bobby) Smith; Sherry (Marlin) Christensen; Jared Kelly (Cindy) and Oleah and Kathy daughters-in-law; 47 grandchildren, 137 great-grandchildren, 50 great great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by husband Fred; children, baby daughter; Gaylen; Larry; Roger and daughter-in-law Jeanie.
The family wishes to express their thanks to the Hospital staff at Sanpete Valley Hospital.
Funeral Services will be held Sat., Jan. 16, 2010 at the Fairview 4th Ward Chapel, 100 S. State, Fairview, UT at 11:00 a.m.
Family and friends may visit Fri., Jan. 15, 2006 from 6-8 p.m. at Rasmussen Mortuary, 96 N. 100 W. in Mt. Pleasant and on Sat., Jan. 16 from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. at the church in Fairview.
The family requests in lieu of flowers please make contributions to the Fairview Pioneer Museum or the Fairview dance hall at Fairview City.
