NOBLESVILLE____Raymond "Dick" Pierce, 71, of 294 S. Ninth St, died Wednesday at Riverview Hospital. He had been ill two and a half years.
Retired from Miller Service, he was a native of Lapel, but had lived in Noblesville most of his life. His wife Esther, died in 1921.
Surviving are a son, William C. Pierce, Noblesville city councilman; three grandsons; three sisters, Mrs. Lillian Beaver, and Mrs. Bernice Moore of Noblesville and Mrs. Lucille Holloway of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.
