Dave had been an employee of Sealtest Farms In Frederick for 27 years prior to his death.
Dave was a member of the Republican Central Committee for Jefferson District; a member of Myersville Church Of The Brethren; Columbia Lodge; No.53 A.F.& A.M. and the Frederick Forrest No.158 of the Tall Cedars Of Lebanon.
In addition to his wife he is survived by one daughter, Claudia Ann Ogle at home and one granddaughter and predeceased by one son, Atlee "Davey" T. Shepley from leukemia in 1945.
Dave is also survived by three brothers Elmer M. Shepley, Paterson, N.J.; Orville R. Shepley, Middletown and Guy "Fred" Shepley, Braddock Heights and two sisters Mary C. Bowlus and Helen Cosgrove, Frederick and predeceased by one brother, Russell A. Shepley.
Funeral held at the Bittle Funeral Home with the Rev. Charles H. Cameron officiating with internment made in the United Brethren Cemetery, Myersville by Bittle funeral directors.
