A native of Black Mountain, she was a daughter of the late William Bill Albert and Edna Foster Burnett. She was an employee of Walmart and Oteen McDonalds. She was predeceased by brothers, Sherman and Chuck Burnett.
Surviving are a daughter, Charity Burnette (Brent) of Black Mountain; sisters, Elizabeth Libby Early (Dale) of Charlotte and Ina Hatch (William) of Asheville, with whom she made her home; grandchildren, Evin and Haley Burnette; 11 nieces and nephews and several great nieces and nephews.
No services are planned and burial will be private.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday at Penland & Sons Funeral Home, Swannanoa.
