WING — Heather Marie Bryant, 32, Wing, died Jan. 10, 2010, as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 14, at the Wing School Gymnasium, with the Revs. Darrel Aleson and Jo Pfennig officiating. Burial will be held in the spring in the Wing Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 3 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Eastgate Funeral Service, Bismarck, where a prayer service will begin at 7 p.m. Visitation will continue one hour prior to the service at the school gymnasium.
Heather Marie Rasmussen was born March 8, 1977, at Turtle Lake, the daughter of James and Paulette (Roth) Rasmussen. Heather was raised and attended elementary school in Regan. She moved with her parents to Wing in 1989, and graduated from Wing High School in 1995. Heather was involved in many high school activities, including basketball, drama, science club and band. Following high school, she attended Bismarck State College. She then went on to work for Medcenter One as a patient transporter. Heather worked for the past eight years as assistant manager for Taco Johns.
Heather married Jimmy Bryant on Aug. 29, 1998, in Wing. They lived in Bismarck for a short time before moving back to Wing in 2003. Heather enjoyed sport activities and was actively involved in the Wing community.
Heather is survived by her husband, Jim, and their two sons, Kobe and Alexander, all of Wing; her parents, James and Paulette Rasmussen, Wing; her three brothers and one sister-in-law, Carey and Lanette Rasmussen, Matthew Rasmussen and John Rasmussen, all of Bismarck; her grandmother, Clara Rasmussen, Regan; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Ron and Karen Bryant, Bismarck; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Heather was preceded in death by her grandparents, LeRoy and Darlene Roth; her grandfather, Robert Rasmussen; her uncles, John Roth and Jess Hollenbeck; and her aunt, Heidi Roth.
