PASS CHRISTIAN - Daniel Boyle Tracy, 56, died Saturday, July 1, 2000, in Gulfport. Mr. Tracy was a native of Gulfport and a lifelong resident of the Coast. He was a graduate of St. John High School and Hinds Junior College in Raymond. He was a Catholic and a member of the fellowship at St. Augustine Seminary in Bay St. louis. He was a Navy veteran of Vietnam. He was a barber for 28 years and was the owner of Modern Hair Care in Long Beach. He was preceded in death by his father, Norbert E. Tracy Sr., and a brother, Norbert E. Tracy Jr. Survivors include his wife, Wanda Ladnier Tracy of Pass Christian; three sons, Daniel B. Tracy II of Starkville, Raymond S. Tracy and Ryan P. Tracy, both of Pass Christian; his mother, Carmen L. Tracy of Gulfport; two brothers, William J. "Bill" Tracy of Long Beach and Cornelius "Chunnie" Tracy of Dickinson, Texas; and three sisters, Catherine Colleen James of Long Beach, Nina Muriel Fraser of Biloxi and Dian Marie Schlicht of Hemet, Calif. Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Riemann Funeral Home, 25th Avenue, Gulfport. A procession will leave the funeral home at 11:20 a.m. Thursday for an 11:30 service at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Gulfport. Burial will be in Biloxi National Cemetery.
