A funeral service was held at the Little Gym at Harlem High School. Interment in the Harlem Cemetery.
Louisa was born on July 1, 1907, at Eden, Utah, to James and Rosetta (Bingham) Shupe. She was raised in Utah and Idaho and came to Montana in 1919.
She married Henry F. Miller on Sept. 24, 1924, in Chinook. She lived in Harlem for most of her life. For many years she was a cook for Frip's Café. She had been at the Phillips County Good Samaritan Center for the last four years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry F. Miller on Jan. 12, 1967; sons, Mike, Ben, Bill, Chub, and Danny; daughter, Pat; and sister, Florence.
Survivors include her sons, Thomas J. Miller and Larry E. Miller, both of Malta, and John R. Miller of Harlem; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
