Our mom was so very loving, caring, and strong. She taught us much about God, love of family, and what quiet, gentle strength is. She loved her grandchildren, and was never more happy than with an infant in her arms, feeding, burping, or bathing her precious grandchild. Mom taught us how to listen to music, and how important a role music plays in an individual's life. Because of you, Mom, we are all Bob Dylan fans, and are just as apt as you used to be to belt out his lyrics. Mom will be greatly missed, every day in every way, yet she will continue to live on through our thoughts, memories, and stories which we will continue to laugh, cry, and roll our eyes while telling or listening. I love you to the moon and back mom, a million times over.

I measure love by the love my grandma has shown me. I am who I am today because of her. When I was little my grandma and I would sit together at her table and have breakfast, I said to her one day "This is the best day of my life!" And all the days I got to spend with her truly were some of the best days of my life. Hearing her sweet voice on the phone meant the world to me. Every single conversation I had with her will be forever cherished in my heart. I Love her with every part of my being, she was my grandma and my best friend. But grandma this is only bye-bye for now, and I'll see you soon. all my heart, your miranda jane

Mom was always there for us. "Her girls" were everything to her and she never let more than a day or two go by without getting in touch with us. She loved her grand babies and was so very proud of them. One of my fondest memories is of my sister's and I sitting down at the kitchen table with mom telling of the "happenings". She had a great memory and never forgot the details. Some things that I remember her saying are: " My door is always open", " YO!" , "Let's blow this popsicle stand" , "I'm OUTTA here" " and her ever famous " Bye Bye for now". I learned to have patience, love, faith, strength, understanding and forgiveness from you Mom! Thank you. I will love and miss you Mom until I see you in Heaven. Your daughter ,Marianne Monteen

Mom, You were the first one to love me, the first one to hold me, the first one to count my fingers & toes to make sure they were all there! You were the first one to kiss me & you were the first one I came too when I had a anything from a boo boo to a broken heart. You were always there for me no matter what was going on in your life, you made time for me. You taught me to love people & you taught me Jesus' love for me & the trust & faith you had in Him, was always present in your life. No matter what you were going through, you did it with a positive attitude & a smile was never far from your face. You faced a lot of adversity in your life mom, but you are an over comer, your glass was always half full & never half empty. Your love of music, life, your "corner", people, "Days", "your girls" & all of your grandchildren are apart of all of our lives. I remember how much you always said how you "miss ma & dad", well mom, I miss you so much already that my heart is truly broken, a hole that only you can fill, you are my mother & my best friend. I will miss taking care of you, cooking for you, getting shorthand love notes from you & you helping me "read" them, watching tv with you, playing games & listening to music with you, but most of all I will miss your voice, your laughter & your songs, your encouragement, your praise & your "oh don't you look pretty comments & your advise. I am who I am today because of you mom. You are the strongest, caring, loving, forgiving, courageous and most tenacious woman I have ever have had the privledge of knowing & loving. So mom, I will miss you more than words can express. I will continue to make you proud of me & I am comforted in knowing that you don't have to "watch your feet" anymore! You are free. Free from pain & free from suffering. Until I see you again, it's just bye bye for now. Love always & forever, Michele Marie.
