Jeanne M. Ray, 81, passed away early Sunday, Jan. 10, 2010, a care center in Fort Worth.
Memorial service: 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Arlington Heights United Methodist Church with the Rev. Raul Gutierrez officiating. Interment of ashes: Greenhill Cemetery in Cameron, Okla.
Jeanne was born Aug. 18, 1928, in Cameron, Okla., to Carlos Cledie and Grace Jennings Miller. She graduated salutatorian of the high school there in 1945.
She married John R. Ray on March 17, 1951. Together they had three sons. They divorced in 1968. In 1972, Jeanne moved to Fort Worth, where she resided until her death.
Jeanne was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers; youngest son, Phillip; and her estranged husband.
Survivors: Sons and their families, Tom Ray and his wife, Linda, of Plainview and John Ray and his wife, Patti, of Oklahoma City; sister, Rita Duncan of Fort Worth; three grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
