Elizabethville--Mark C. Shoop, 91, of Susquehanna Lutheran Village, Millersburg, and formerly of Elizabethville, died yesterday in the village.
He was a retired farmer; retired from D.F. Wilhour Sons Saw Mill; and was a member of Union United Methodist Church, Halifax, and Reliance Hose Company.
Surviving are a son, K. Dean, and a daughter, Lena Stoneroad, both of Halifax; three brothers, James W., Kenneth S., and Lee R., all of Halifax; two sisters, Emma Rowe of Halifax, and Sara of Milton; nine grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday in the Hoover Funeral Home. Burial will be in Union Cemetery.
Viewing will be from noon to 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
