OBITUARY, The Anthon Herald, 25 February 1988, page 3: Iva Belle Hayworth, 87, Sioux City, Iowa, a former Oto resident died Sunday February 7, 1988, in a nursing home in Whiting, Iowa, after a long illness. Services were held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the Christy Morningside Funeral Home with Brother Harold Burmeister of Jehovah's Witness officiating. Burial was in West Fork Cemetery in Climbing Hill, Iowa. Mrs. Hayworth, the former Iva Belle Coon, was born August 12, 1900, in Oto. She lived in the Oto and Anthon community for many years. She married Ivel Hayworth May 12, 1919, in Anthon. The couple moved to Sioux City in 1957. He died May 3, 1964, in Minneapolis. She had resided in Pleasant View nursing home in Whiting for four years. Mrs. Hayworth was of Jehovah's Witness faith. Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Doris Thompson of Sioux City, Mrs. Leo (Maxine) Dicks and Mrs. Leonard (Phyllis) Dowling, both of Hornick, a son, Norman T. of Garner, Iowa, sixteen grandchildren, twenty-four great grandchildren, and three great great grandchildren.
