Death of Mrs. Rebecca Alexander
Mrs. Rebecca Alexander, widow of Columbus Alexander died yesterday at the Toronto, 2002 P Street Northwest where she lived.
Funeral services will be held in Holy Trinity Church, Georgetown at 9 o'clock Saturday morning and will be conducted by the Rev. Father Corbett. Interment will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Alexander was born in Virginia, but early removed to Washington and has spent most of her life in this city. One child, Douglas Alexander of this city survives her.

Columbus Alexander married Rebecca Hay, daughter of Henry Hay, of Boston and of this union were born six children:
1. Catherine, who married James Francis Russell. Mr. and Mrs. Russell are the parents of three children: Louise R., wife of Lester Hayward, of Los Angeles, who now makes her residence in Washington; Katharine, wife of John Weisiger, of Richmond, Virginia; Eva, wife of Harry V. Bouic, son of State Senator Bouic, of Maryland.
2. Columbus S.
3. Walter O., a physician.
4. Fendall E., who became a great lawyer.
5. Henry H., who was one of the first government employees in Washington, an expert court stenographer, who recorded the trial proceedings from first to last after the assassination of President Garfield.
