Obituary
Adolph was educated in Pittsburgh and old Allegheny schools. He was a graduate of the Conservatory of Music at Leipsig, Germany. Active in the Music Teachers' National Association, choral conductor in the Pittsburgh Symphonic Society, and contributor to several music magazines. Some of works included arias, marches, chamber music, songs, piano, organ, and church music. Most famous for his composition of an "Ave Maria" with violin obbligato.
