Terry L. Quinn, 65, of Boiling Springs, went peacefully to be with his Lord on Thursday, Jan. 7, 2010, after a brief illness. He was born July 25, 1944 in Lebanon, PA, and is the son of Mary (Miller) Quinn Kupp of Lebanon and the late John Richard Quinn.

He attended Cedar Crest High School and was honorably discharged from the U.S. Air Force. He worked for the Department of Defense for more than 27 years, retiring from Defense Information Systems Agency in 2007. Terry believed in living life to the fullest and enjoying every minute given to him by God. He valued God, his family and dogs, and treasured his many friends. Terry's carefree days were spent riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle, playing golf, fishing and "deviling" his friends and family. He was a member of St. John's Episcopal Church in Carlisle where he was a lay reader and former Lay Eucharistic Minister; a member of the American Legion Post 0272, ALMECH golf league and the Carlisle Barracks Golf Club.

In addition to his mother, Terry is survived by his loving wife, Barbara Cheryl Rotz Quinn, daughters: Andrea Ciccocioppo (wife of Barry) of Dillsburg and Heather Fowler (wife of Micah) of Mont Alto, his sons: Jeffrey and Jack Quinn of Lebanon, granddaughter, Brooke Ciccocioppo of Dillsburg, grandsons: Mason and Morgan Quinn of Womelsdorf, miniature Schnauzer, Gidget, and many other family members. He was recently preceded in death by his Bouvier des Flandres, Delilah.

A memorial service to celebrate Terry's life will be held on Tuesday January 12, 2010, at 10:30 a.m. in St. John's Episcopal Church, On the Square in Carlisle with Rev. Canon Mark A. Scheneman and Rev. Robyn J. Szoke officiating. A visitation will be held prior to the service at 9:30 a.m. at the church. Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, Carlisle, is handling arrangements. Inurnment will be in the Chapel of the Good Shepherd Columbarium in St. John's Episcopal Church.
