She was born in Hardwood, OK to M. E. and Nellie Droke Cecil. She graduated from Olney High School as Salutatorian in 1940. She married Willard Williams on Aug. 26, 1940. They were married for 60 years. Lennie was a longtime member of the Wapanucka First Baptist Church and the Wilson Baptist Church. She was a great cook, and a loving daughter, wife, mother, aunt, and grandma. Lennie will remembered for the great coconut cream pies she took to the Wilson Community Center's bean suppers. Survivors include her children, Mary L. Watson of Atoka, OK and James A. Williams and wife Dolly of Atoka, OK; grandchildren, Alan Watson and wife Hollie, Sarah Watson Steffes and husband Bryan; Genie Watson Funk and husband Brandon, David Watson and wife Christie, Miranda Snow Wesley and husband Tim, Dusty Snow and Jamison Williams; great grandchildren, Collin, William, Conner, Carter, Tyler, Donovan, Christine, Kacie, Carson, and Michelle; sisters, Adell Haney of Johnson, KS and Lucille Fahrni and husband Roy of Exeter, CA. Se was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son in law, Carrol Watson; nephew, Doug Haney; great grandchildren, Shelby and Constance Snow Wesley and brother in law, Earlon Haney. Services will be held Saturday, Jan. 9, 2010 at 2 pm at Brown's Funeal Chapel in Atoka with interment at Wards Chapel Cemetery. Dr. James Crowson will officiate. Casketbearers will be Johnny Williams, Ben Williams, Martin Williams,
Rick Hardison, Clifton James and Hank Williams.
