ADCOCK JOEL R. 71, of 1515 Christy Ave., died Monday at St. Anthony Medical Center.
He was a native of Henry County, a retired employee of Boland-Maloney Lumber Co., where he worked for more than 30 years, and an Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors: his wife, the former Mary E. Webster; a daughter, Barbara Phillips of Shelbyville; four grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral: 11 a.m. Wednesday, Arch L. Heady & Son Funeral Home, 1201 E. Oak St., with burial in St. Stephens Cemetery. Visitation from noon to 9 p.m. Tuesday
