Bell Sr., Don F. A resident of Denham Springs and a former resident of Lafayette, he died at 9:46 p.m. Monday, April 17, 2006, at his home. He was 77, born on Feb. 1, 1929, the son of William Pink and Ollie Huffman Bell. He was a U.S. Army veteran. Visitation at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs, on Wednesday, April 19, was from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Visitation resumes at the funeral home chapel on Thursday from 9 a.m. until religious service at 11 a.m., conducted by the Rev. Terry Booth. Burial in Evergreen Memorial Park, Denham Springs. He is survived by his wife, Teressa Fay Bell, Denham Springs; daughters, Glenda and husband Eddie Gautreaux, Kay Marchand and fiancé Shannon Ross, and Donna Bell; sons and daughter-in-law, Don Bell Jr., and Hank and Jennifer Bell, all of Denham Springs; sisters, Christine Churchman and Melba Matlock, both of Texas; brother, Kenneth Bell, Texas; grandchildren, Christie and Russ Dorsa and Melanie Gautreaux, all of Denham Springs, Trisha Wilson and fiancé Brad Babin, and Jennifer and Neal Aucoin, all of Baton Rouge; great-grandchildren, Faith and Lauren Dorsa, and Kaylee and Emilee Aucoin; and numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Eddie Gautreaux, Russ Dorsa, Shannon Ross, Neal Aucoin, Brad Babin and Bryan Marchand. Preceded in death by his parents; and nephews, Carl Don Churchman and Jim Bell. Don retired from Texaco Oil with more than 38 years of service. He graduated from Palestine High School in Texas, and he enjoyed riding horses with numerous trail-riding groups. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of St. Joseph Hospice for their care during Don's illness.
