Boy Killed Accidentally.

About 9 o'clock Friday mroning while S.W. Jennings, who resides a mile or more east of Lometa, was preparing to kill hogs, his two little boys were playing with a loaded shotgun which was nearby with which Mr. jennings was about to shoot the hogs. In some way, the gun was accidentally discharged by one of the boys, the entire charge of buckshot taking effect in the head of the other. Death was instantaneous. The name of the boy who was killed was Marion, aged 8, and the boy in whose hands the gun was discharged was about 13 years of age, and was named Jesse. Justice A. C. Ivey held an inquest over the remains of the boy and found that he came to death by accident. The family moved to this section about a year ago from Long Cove. The Leader extends sympathy to the bereaved relatives in this affliction.
