Ida Lee McInroe of Benbrook, 84, passed away Thursday, July 24, 2014. Service: 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 29, 2014, at Wiley Funeral Home in Granbury. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Ida Lee was born May 26, 1930, in Mitchell Bend to Edward and Maggie Heathington Philley. She married Patrick Laroy "Red" McInroe, June 20, 1950, in Gainesville, Texas. She worked for Dan Diepert Tours for 24 years. She attended Wesleyan College. She held her Real Estate license and helped run Red McInroe Welding.
Survivors: Daughters, Deane Harrell and husband, George, of Granbury, Carol Smith and fiancé' Felix Flores, of Fort Worth; six grandchildren; one brother; six sisters; best friend, Glennetta McAdams of Conroe, Texas; special friends, Phyllis Looney of Mansfield, Mary Richardson of Granbury; sister-in-law, Rudene Ramsey of Tempe, Arizona; numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.
